Mayfield has gone into administration and been replaced by Tolent. The park opening is delayed until 2012. No exact date has been given. Working on behalf of site owner Langtree, Mayfield was the main contractor on the refurbishment of the park.

Before it does open there will be a series of events, organised in conjunction with the The Land Trust, to give local residents, schoolchildren and other members of the community a chance to sample the gardens for themselves.
