There has been a celebration event where local residents and other members of the community were given a chance to sample the gardens for themselves. The park is expected to open to the wider public in a few weeks time (some time in May)

Mayfield has gone into administration and been replaced by Tolent. Working on behalf of site owner Langtree, Mayfield was the main contractor on the refurbishment of the park.
